Creating mental visuals, of what it feels like to be drained of energy, can help you explore and understand the full weight of your experience.

Think of some of your most energy depleted moments.

Examples that come to mind:

The strain of a weary body with less than 4 hours of sleep, taking care of a sick toddler, and expected to work.

The overwhelm of packing up a kitchen to move, surrounded by half-packed boxes, crumpled newspaper, and a stack of cookbooks you may or may not have used since your last move.

The feeling after debriefing with your partner about engrained patterns in your relationship that have yet to change, but need to change.
