The Impact of Parents, 1

There are no perfect parents.
There are human parents.
And, there were parent experiences that helped you find a step ladder to reach the top shelf instead of walking past while you were reaching and straining from your tippy toes.

Why does your parent experience matter?
It was your first social relationship.
It laid the tracks for all following social relationships.
Like the ones you are in now.

While you can loathe the parent holes and lack under their care, now you are an adult with agency to direct your way forward.

In this series we will both validate gaps in parenting and gather agency.

Journal Prompts:
In my first social relationship I learned…
I loathe the gaps of…
I need to find agency with…

Journaling is for processing, organizing, reflecting, and more. There are no right ways to journal. There are no wrong ways to journal. Journaling can be done with words, bullet points, pictures, lyrics, drawings, and more. What comes natural to you, is the right way to journal.
