You can be an observer of your emotional experience. You do not have to be a storm chaser.
Like a storm, regret surrounds the soul with aggression, loud and windshield-wiper necessary.
But a storm is temporary and so is your emotional experience of regret.
You can allow the rush of emotions to flood your body,
reach a height,
and drain out.
You have the capability to build tolerance for your regret experience. You can wait out the storm.
Your experience is a moment in time–apart of you–but not all of you.
