Process: Journal Prompt Series | Day 1

This series walks through how to process something. Anything.

In a world that values stimulation, you benefit from taking time to slow down and process. Wipe off the fog from your glasses.

To process is to organize, explore, or make sense of an experience.

Taking time to process gives you information about how to move forward. It is a way to engage with what you have experienced. It is sifting through information. It is deciding what needs to stay, what needs action, and what you need to wave goodbye to.

Processing brings clarity.

Examples of things to process:

  • I experienced something difficult that I have had trouble moving past.
  • Something in my relationship feels uncomfortable. I don’t know what to do with it. I don’t how I feel about it.
  • A family dynamic keeps surfacing. I don’t know how to engage with it or address it.

You get to identify what needs your attention. Trust yourself.
