Identity: Journal Prompt 4

Contact.

Making contact with your identity is like walking down the street and catching your reflection in a window. But instead of continuing to walk by, you pause, turn toward the reflection, take a deep breath, and stay with it.

Contact intentionally turns off the outside world, no avoidance. It is the very opposite of numbing. It stays present and connected.

Making contact means you take a moment to recognize yourself. Not as you were, not as who you are going to be, but with who you are right now.

Journal Prompt: Right now I am…

A note on journaling: The goal of journaling is to process, organize, and self-reflect. There are no right ways to journal. There are no wrong ways to journal. Journaling can be done with words, bullet points, pictures, lyrics, drawings, and more. What comes natural to you, is the right way to journal.
