Experiencing negative beliefs out of a difficult circumstance is common. What seems evermore important is acknowledging negative beliefs and stopping the spread–not allowing them to infest other areas of your life.
Consider the spillover impact of negative beliefs.
Consider beliefs that say, you don’t matter, that then keep you from asserting what you need today.
Consider beliefs that say, I am alone, that fuel depression and a sense of loneliness today.
Consider beliefs that say, you aren’t good enough, that keep you in bad relationships.
Without intervention, it’s like your past self is taking a cheap shot on your current self.
Stop the spread. Intervene on your behalf.
